I set a goal this year to post on my website once a month. I technically have yet to fail at this, but a lot has happened since my last post. I had my first *official* ARC campaign, and I published my third novel on March 31st! Just this past week, I found out that my first novel, “Blood in the Water” is on the shelf of my local library! (That’s a bit of a story — my uncle dropped off a copy there and I didn’t think it would work but they actually put it up on the shelf!) Now its time to switch gears!

Don’t worry, I’m talking about my next book!

My current WIP (work in progress) will be the sequel to my romcom, “It Had to Be You”. The first step has been just reintroducing tiktok to IHTBY (is that a good acronym? Idk how I feel about it). I have been thinking about making a street team which is a similar concept to ARC readers, but basically a team of good people who hype up your book on social media. This is essential for indie authors like me, who basically have to become a tiktok influencer just to get the word out on their book.

This week I posted a sneak peek for my WIP. All this was, was a collage of pictures I have saved from Pinterest as inspiration. This (in my case) is anything from setting, to character design, to even an activity I want my characters to do. Might sound silly, but it really helps to visualize. I highly recommend you check out my tiktok if you havent yet, as I post on their EVERY DAY! Its tiring…
